Beautiful beaches
Endelave is the perfect destination if you want to take a dip in the ocean. There is shallow water all the way around the island which makes the beaches of Endelave very child-friendly.
There are 4 areas on Endelave that are particularly suitable for bathing:
Endelave Harbour
West of Endleave's harbour dock you will find an approximately 1-kilometre-long bathing beach with excellent water quality and a seabed which mainly consist of sand but also has gravel and stones.
The beach itself is 5 to 10 meters wide and is close to several shopping options as well as a local inn serving delicious Danish dishes.
Parking
You can park in the area in front of the harbour.
Søndermølle
On the southern coast of Endelave
lies an approximately 500-metre-long bathing beach with excellent bathing water quality and a seabed which mainly consist of sand but also has gravel and stones.
The beach itself is 10-20 metres wide.
Øvre North
On the west side of Endelave's northern tip, which lies in the protected nature area of Øvre, there is a beach about 1 kilometre long, which is great for swimming. At the water's edge and about 50-100 metres into the water, the seabed consists of sand with scattered stones.
Parking
There is an access road to the beach area via the streets ”Kongevej” and ”Øvre”. It is possible to park in the grass.
Øvre South
On the east side of Endelave, at the southern end of Øvre's nature, there is an approximately 1.5-kilometre-long beach. At the water’s edge and about 50 to 100 meters into the water, the seabed consists of sand with scattered stones.
Parking
There is an access road to the beach area via the streets ”Kongevej” and ”Øvre”. It is possible to park in the grass.
