Welcome to Horsens' cultural hub, Platform K. In this cultural center near the train station, you will find cool concerts, colourful lectures, fun and quirky events, a cosy café, and space for peaceful reflection.
Platform K - The journey begins here
Horsens has always had many cultural hot spots, offering different events in different environments. Now, the new big melting pot Platform K will collect the many offers of 'everyday culture' and make it easy for you to find your next concert, talk, workshop, jam-night - or just a cup of coffee and some great company.
In this culture-house diversity is praised! At Platform K, children, teenagers, and adults all come together, and the house's events reflect the wide audience that shapes the house's atmosphere. One day, it's bustling with happy metal fans, leather jackets, and cold, dewy beers, while on another, there's focused crafting and a homely scent of coffee, chit-chat from high school students, diverse languages from the city's international students, or families with children sharing a bench with the rehearsal room users. Additionally, during the day, the café is set up as a study and work environment, with a constantly buzzing, electric, and inspiring atmosphere.
Concerts and music
Whether you like rock, pop, indie, folk, rap, jazz, blues, dance, or something completely different, you'll probably find a show at Platform K!

Experience everyday culture
In Denmark we have a term called "hverdagskultur". Roughly translated, this means "everyday culture" and refers to casual, cozy, and often creative gatherings, centered around either a hobby, a theme or a topic. Hence, everyday culture can be a workshop in ceramics, a poetry slam night, a painting course, a knitting-group-get-together, or a sing-along around a camp fire. Really, it can be anything, as long as it's rather informal and 'hyggelig'.
Platform K is a haven for everyday culture and hosts events for any age, gender, and interest.

Platform K's cafe
In the cafe you will find a large selection of light dishes, snacks, hot beverages, and cool refreshments.
The café is open from late morning until late in the evening. You can see the exact opening hours on this page.

A lot of Platform K's events are free, but some are not - especially concerts and workshops. Book your ticket right here.
You will find Platform K on the old freight yard grounds, at the end of the railway track north of the train station in Horsens. On Emil Møllers Gade, you will see a large Platform K sign at the entrance to Madevej.
