The Odder Treasure Hunt

Enjoy healthy quality time with your children as you follow the treasure map on a four-kilometre-long route through the city of Odder. All adventurers can get a limited-edition medal from the treasure chest at the end of the hunt.

Sometimes it can be difficult to convince the whole family to get out in the open when the summer season is over. That is why we have made a free family-friendly treasure hunt in the city of Odder that does not require more than a printed treasure map, push and determination.

A fun activity for all

The treasure hunt is a cosy and exciting way to experience Odder – even for impatient children who think that history is boring. The route leads past 14 different locations in town, and along the way treasure hunters must solve tasks and answer questions. Everyone can learn more about the city, and the children will have a fun experience, lots of fresh air and a medal their necks. You will be surprised how many stories are lurking beneath the surface in Odder.

Find the treasure map

You can pick up the treasure map in Mosters Café at the town square. You can also download and print the map here.

When you hand in the treasure map at Mosters Café you will receive a medal that you can take home as a memory of your adventure.

Share your experiences

We are so excited to hear about your treasure hunt in our lovely city. Use the hashtag #oddertreasurehunt on Facebook and Instagram – and remember to tag @kystlandet if you want to share your experience

Do you want another medal for the collection?

If the children are up for another adventure, we have another treasure hunt on the island of Tunø. It has been very popular among tourists and locals since we introduced it on the beautiful island without cars in 2018.

The ferry ride takes an hour and along the way you might be lucky to spot seals – or maybe visit the captain in the wheelhouse.
