Gyllingnæs is situated approx. 10 km south from Odder. The estate is at 616 hectare, of this 163 hectare wood. The estate is since 1995 owned by Troels Holch Povlsen and he has restored the estate totally. The estate itself is closed top the public.

The outer regions of the headland are owned by Gyllingnæs Estate, but it is permitted to stroll around the shore line, or cycle, or walk along the wooded pathways. A tour around the entire estate takes approx. 3-4 hours.
The tidal meadows around Horskærgård are preserved from 1st March until 1st August as the birds require peace during their breeding season.
