A lovely activity by the Gudenå River
Few things say holiday like mini golf and ice cream. If you are looking for a fun activity with family or friends in the Bakkelandet area, this newly built mini golf course is a great option. The setting is beautiful by the banks of the Gudenå River in the village of Brestenbro, and whether you are staying at the campsite, stopping by during your canoe trip on the Gudenå, or just visiting on a day out in the area, you are more than welcome to play a round on the course. At the reception, you can also borrow garden games, or enjoy the lovely natural surroundings with a walk or a relaxing break in the shade to turn your visit into a full day out.
A true Gudenå course
The mini golf course at Gudenå Camping could not be placed just anywhere in Denmark. It has been designed specifically to reflect the local area and the nearby section of the Gudenå River. During the game, you will hit your ball over The Uncovered Bridge, through the tower at Ejer Bavnehøj, and across the Gudenå itself. As the course is newly constructed, it is in excellent condition and offers challenges suited to both beginners and more experienced players, ensuring a great time for the whole family.
Ice cream bar and café
At the Gudenå Camping café, you can buy traditional ice cream cones, soft serve from Vebbestrup, and a selection of ice lollies. There are seating areas both inside the café and outside by the mini golf course.
The café also serves sandwiches, pizza, fish and chips, French hot dogs and more for lunch, and in the evening you can enjoy classic Danish dishes such as ‘stjerneskud’, steak sandwiches and burgers. Naturally, there is also a wide selection of cold drinks to enjoy by the mini golf course.
Opening hours and prices
The mini golf course is open daily from 09:00 to 20:00 throughout both high and low season. The price is DKK 50 per round per person.
