Tunø Købmandsgård & Café
On the car-free island of Tunø, the only grocery store is a vital lifeline for the island's residents. Here, you can stock up for your stay or day trip to the island year-round, or enjoy a cup of coffee and freshly-baked bread in the store's café. During the summer, you can also hire SUP boards or take the youngest members of the family on a cosy guided pony walk with Lillehesten.

Freshly baked morning bread and cold drinks
For the small island community of Tunø, the island’s grocery store is an essential factor in keeping the community running. With services such as a pharmacy outlet, package shop, and sales of petrol, oil, and gas, it serves as a crucial hub for residents with many functions.
As a guest on Tunø, the grocery store is also a place that will undoubtedly be part of your visit. Here, you can buy cold drinks, ice cream, candy, and other goodies.
If you’re staying in a holiday home, on a boat, or at the campsite, this is where you can pick up supplies for the grill for dinner or collect fresh-baked morning bread. Since Tunø is car-free, delivery by tractor is offered.
Café Lille Ø
Connected to the shop, the general store features its own café with plenty of seating. Here, you can stop by for freshly made sandwiches at lunchtime, pizza and a daily special in the evening. In the morning, enjoy Tami’s homemade sourdough roll with organic butter.
You can see Café Lille Ø's menu on this page.
Freshly baked breakfast bread is available every morning, including rolls, white bread, rye bread, and sweet pastries. You can order in advance in the shop or by texting +45 6015 4044 if you want to make sure your favourite bread is ready when you arrive.
The café is open during the shop’s opening hours.
