Holmely Ebike Holidays

Enjoy a wonderful cycling holiday surrounded by stunning nature in Central and East Jutland. All the practicalities are taken care of. The routes are planned, your electric bike is ready, and the bed is made at the unique accommodation Holmely near Brædstrup.

Active and relaxed short break in nature

Holmely E-bike Tours offer all-inclusive cycling holidays along the Jutland Ridge, where hills, deep forests, sparkling lakes and the Gudenå Valley shape the landscape. Everything is arranged for you in advance, so all you need to do is show up at Holmely. Your bike will be ready and waiting – freshly cleaned and fully charged. In this southern part of the Lake Highlands, you will be staying at a unique and characterful accommodation with a range of overnight options.

The Danish Lakelands or Horsens Fjord

When booking your stay, you can choose between two different programmes. No matter which one you pick, the route has been tailored to ensure unforgettable experiences along the way. The distances are easy to manage on an electric bike and you do not need to be in peak physical condition. The focus here is on the joy of the journey and taking things at your own pace.

The Danish Lakelands package is a 4–5 day stay with overnight accommodation at Holmely. You will explore many of the area's natural highlights, which characterise the hilly, forested Lake Highlands surrounding Holmely. On the way, you will pass landmarks such as The Uncovered Bridge, Vestbirk Hydroelectric Power Station, Klostermølle, The Sugar Loaf, Lake Thorup and Vrads Sande. You can add an extra day to visit the scenic Tinnet Forest, where the Gudenå and Skjern rivers spring, as well as Lake Rørbæk.

The Horsens Fjord package is a four-day tour with accommodation at Holmely, Fjordhotel Borre Knob and Reballegaard. The tour begins and ends at Holmely in the Lake Highlands. From here, you follow the Bryrup Railway Path to Horsens, where you will visit the Industrial Museum before continuing on the south side of the fjord. You will cross the fjord via the two islands Hjarnø and Alrø, both of which offer plenty of time for exploration. On the north side of the fjord, you will experience the beautiful Sondrup Hills before continuing to Horsens and returning to Holmely.

Both tours naturally include delicious food experiences as part of the programme.
