The most accessible accommodation
At Hou Strand, there are 11 holiday homes specially designed for accessibility, located right on the front row of the Jutland East Coast. These spacious houses are the perfect base for a coastal vacation along the Odder Coast, accommodating everyone's needs.
Hou Søsportcenter is fully equipped to welcome individuals with physical disabilities. The 11 holiday homes available at the center are all on one level and without doorsteps. The large bedroom is equipped with two hospital beds, and there is a ceiling lift directly connected to the spacious bathroom. The kitchen and living room are combined in a large open kitchen-dining area.
Montra Odder Parkhotel
This four-star hotel is beautifully located in the heart of Odder, and places a strong emphasis on physical accessibility. The hotel caters specifically to individuals with visual, hearing, and developmental disabilities, as well as those with mobility, arm, and hand disabilities. Special consideration is also given to individuals with reading difficulties, asthma, and allergies. All areas of the park hotel are wheelchair accessible.
Scandic Opus Horsens hotel
Well-thought-out and accessible solutions ensure that more individuals can move around independently. Opus has been registered with "God Adgang" (Good Access) in the following areas: mobility, arm, and hand disabilities; visual disabilities; hearing disabilities; asthma and allergies; developmental disabilities; and reading difficulties. All areas of the hotel are wheelchair accessible.
Zleep Hotel Horsens
As a newly built hotel, accessibility has been integrated into the construction of this large hotel located by the E45. The hotel's 12 family rooms are designed to be handicap-friendly, with wide doors and the possibility to move around in the bathroom, which also features handrails by the toilet. Getting around the entire hotel is easy.
SleepIn FÆNGSLET hostel
This unique hostel located in the medical ward of the old Horsens State Prison from 1853 was not originally built with accessibility in mind, but efforts have been made to optimize the experience for individuals with physical disabilities. SleepIn has two wheelchair-friendly rooms, and there are ramps and a lift that provides access to the building. Everything is located on one floor with accessebilty bathrooms and common areas. Handicap parking is located outside the prison walls, but with wheelchair-friendly access to the accommodation.
