Campsite near Brædstrup

Basic camping in Brædstrup
Ring Forest is a large woodland area surrounding the town of Brædstrup. The popular walking and cycling route, the Horsens-Silkeborg Nature Trail, runs through the forest. Along the trail, tucked away among the trees, you will find a small campsite. You can pitch your tent here completely free of charge, with no booking required. The campsite has picnic tables and benches, a rubbish bin and a water tap.
The water supply is available during the summer months, and the campsite is generally best suited to warm, dry weather. As it lies in a low-lying area, the ground can get quite wet.
There are no toilets at the campsite. The nearest public toilet is approximately 400 metres away in Folkeparken.
How to find the campsite
As mentioned, the campsite is located along the Horsens-Silkeborg Nature Trail (Bryrupbanestien). If you follow the trail eastwards from Banetorvet in the centre of Brædstrup, you will find the campsite on your left after approximately 600 metres.
You can park in the large car park at Banetorvet or, alternatively, at the activity park's car park on Skovvejen. From there, walk a few hundred metres north through the activity park until you reach the Nature Trail.
Alternatives to the campsite
In the activity park, just a few hundred metres from the campsite, you will find two shelters that can be booked in advance.
If you follow the Nature Trail approximately 1.5 kilometres west, you will reach another campsite with three shelters.
