The restaurant at the legendary Hotel Vejlefjord is well worth a visit—whether you're enjoying a wellness day, a romantic spa getaway, a stroll through the beautiful park, or simply looking for a great meal. The restaurant exudes a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with décor that reflects the hotel's rich history. You’ll walk on the original wooden floors from 1900, dine beneath sparkling chandeliers, and enjoy a stunning view of the park and fjord, where nature truly becomes part of the experience.
On the menu
The kitchen offers wholesome, honest food made with fresh seasonal ingredients—served morning, noon, and night.
In the morning, the restaurant serves the hotel’s delightful breakfast buffet, filled with flavourful dishes and local ingredients.
For lunch, you can choose from the à la carte menu, which offers something for everyone—whether you're in the mood for a quality cut of meat, Vejlefjord’s signature stjerneskud (a Danish open-faced fish dish), or a vegetarian/vegan option. In the afternoon, treat yourself to the cake of the day with a freshly brewed cup of coffee.
In the evening, you can either order from the à la carte menu or indulge in the kitchen’s three-course dinner menu, which changes daily.

Bar and panoramic terrace
In the bar and Saugman’s Lounge, you’ll find the perfect setting for cozy moments and quality time over coffee or delicious cocktails.
The large terrace offers a stunning view, and when the weather allows, it’s a lovely spot to relax with a warm drink or a refreshing beverage.

We always recommend booking in advance to ensure Hotel Vejlefjord can welcome you. You can reserve a table by calling +45 76 82 33 80. The brasserie is open to outside guests for lunch. In the evening, it is reserved for hotel guests.
Restaurant Barbara
The hotel’s second restaurant is located on the top floor and opens for private events and special occasions. In addition to what may be the best view in the region, Restaurant Barbara impresses with elegant décor, crystal chandeliers, and candlelight—a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
