Explore Brædstrup’s nature and town life

Photo: Det Gamle Posthus

Brædstrup will surprise you! The town is not big, but has a large catchment area of smaller villages, and can you also find exciting specialty shops, beautiful restaurants and stunning scenery

A good shopping trip includes food and breaks

Start with a walk through Brædstrup’s high street, and look around the town’s exciting shops, which offer everything from fashion clothes to delicious specialties. Pop into Fru Skov, that sells kitchen equipment and special products, and at Bakkelandets Legetøj, which has everything for children, childish and creative souls.

After shopping, you should head towards the square and enjoy your lunch at the beautiful new Restaurant Det Gamle Posthuswhich offers classic lunch dishes such as shooting star, steak and burgers. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal on the other side of the road at Café Banesti who also serve delicous lunch with outdoor service at the patio.

Nearby is Brædstrup’s large park, Folkeparken. A beautiful green oasis that is ideal for a cosy time for the family. If you have the courage for more nature, you can go for a walk in the beautiful Ring Forest. Head further down to Ring Lake on the outskirts of town, and take a dip from the jetty at the lovely beach. There is a footpath around the lake - the trip is about 3 kilometres.

Now time for some bowling!

Before the trip home, we recommend a visit to the town’s famous Hotel Pejsegården, where you can bowl at the hotel's bowling alley. And in Restaurant Dillen, just by the bowling alley, you can get cold refreshments or a meal.
