All weather is good beach weather! On the beaches of the Coastal Land along the Odder coast, on the Juelsminde peninsula or around Horsens, you can walk here all year round, enjoy a picnic, collect beach shells and stones, take a winter swim or just enjoy nature.
With 266 kilometres of varied coastline, a beach trip is an obvious excursion destination when you are in the Coastal Land.
There is plenty of space here. The east coast’s calm and shallow water, as well as its proximity to restaurants and facilities make the Coastal Land’s beaches some of the most child-friendly and a true experience for the whole family.

10 suggestions for activities for a beach trip
- Take a walk - in flip-flops, rubber boots or winter boots depending on the season!
- Enjoy the view - remember a blanket or beach chair

- Fun and play with a ball, Frisbee or beach tennis
- Collect stones, mussels and beach finds that you can paint or DIY with when you get home (remember a bag for your finds)

- Stand Up Paddle (SUB) - you can, for example, hire equipment at the Strandshoppen at Saksild Beach or at Rosenvold Strand Camping at Rosenvold Beach
