Møllegården on Alrø
A break away in a wonderful location. The vaulted ceiling, the pens and the troughs bear witness to quite a different past when the restaurant in Møllegården on Alrø opens its doors to visitors.
The rural style has been preserved to a considerable degree; and this piece of rather sensational history, Denmark's first radiator-heated pig house, will yet again be filled with life and vibrancy.
The Møllegården is situated in beautiful natural surroundings on the island of Alrø which is a popular picnic destination on bicycle or by car. During summer, the bicycle ferry sails between Alrø and Snaptun.
